Position Description:  Worship Tech

2-4 hours/week starting @ $15/hr (pay commensurate with experience)

 

 

Purpose:  To provide administrative support (secretarial) to the pastor, staff and church leadership for the worship and work of Central Presbyterian Church.

 

 

Accountability:  Accountable to the pastor (as head of staff) and Session

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Use bulletin to prepare slides for worship

  • Prepare a slidedeck with appropriate graphics, third screen, and full screen text

  • Open up and test sound, lights, and cameras prior to worship.

  • Enter the Zoom Room and manage

  • Set up the Facebook Live Event 

  • Prepare soundboard handheld mic and headsets for speakers

  • Broadcast the service, adjusting camera shots as needed, monitoring sound, and advancing slides

  • Set up Zoom Greeter Screen for before and after worship

  • Set up security screens for during worship

  • Find solutions with problems occur.

  • Maintain positive, professional communication with others on behalf of the church.

  • Other duties as assigned (smile).

 

Competencies:

  • Basic Networking, Wifi and Ethernet

  • Basic Sound technologies

  • Advanced-level abilities with  Microsoft Office (Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Advanced abilities with Atem-mini and Pan Cameras

  • Experience with Zoom and Facebook

  • Trustworthy and able to appropriately handle confidential information

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple staff/volunteers

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet rigid deadlines

  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly

  • Flexible, organized, and friendly interpersonal skills
